Annual Deadlines
(All deadlines are based in statute).Embedded Files
January 31: Late filing for CPA Audits.
June 1: Proposed Electronic Budgets for Special Districts, including Joint Power Boards, due to the Dept. of Audit and County Commissioners
July, Third Thursday: Budget hearings may be held no later than this date.
July 31: Final Electron Budgets for Special Districts, including Joint Power Boards, due to the Dept. of Audit and County Commissioners.
August 30: Annual waiver requests due for districts created by and subject to administration by the courts.
September 30: Annual Survey of Local Government Finances (i.e., Census Report), and Annual Report Summary, are due for all entities. All follow-up paperwork (i.e., Proof of Cash, Internal Controls, Self-Audits, & CPA engagement letters), if applicable, is also due.
Budget hearing notifications are due.
December 31: All CPA Reports (i.e., audits & reviews) are due.
